Recommended Tools

  • Drill and Bits
  • Level
  • Hammer
  • Mounting Hardware (bracket, anchors, screws)
  • Pencil
  • Towel Ring

Step 1: Determine Placement

Step 1: Determine where you want to install the towel ring.

Towel rings are typically mounted next to or near a sink around 50 inches to 52 inches off the ground. Placing the mounting bracket over the desired installation point, use a small level to make sure it stays straight.

Make the installation process easier with our bathroom hardware placement guide.

Step 2: Mark Drill Holes

Step 2: Using the wall anchor, mark the drill holes.

Use the mounting bracket as a guide to mark the areas you’ll drill. If you aren’t installing the towel ring into a stud, you’ll need to use drywall anchors. These plastic anchors are generally includes in bath accessory sets along with the appropriate screws.

Step 3: Pre-Drill Anchor Holes and Install Drywall Anchors

Step 3: Pre-drill your anchor holes.

Once you’ve leveled and marked the bracket locations, it’s time to pre-drill the anchor holes. Use a drill bit just wide and deep enough to allow for the anchors to be inserted.

Step 3.1: Install drywall anchors.

After drilling, insert your drywall anchors into the holes and lightly tap them into place with a small hammer. The anchors will sit flush with the wall and have a snug fit.

Step 4: Attach Mounting Bracket

Step 4: Attach mounting bracket to wall with screws.

Line the mounting bracket up with the anchors and use the included screws to fasten the bracket securely to the wall.

Step 5: Attach and Secure Towel Ring to Mounting Bracket

Step 5: Attach and secure the towel ring to the mounting bracket.

Latch the towel ring onto the mounting bracket from the top. Center the notches located on the interior of the ring’s base. Before securing the towel ring to the wall, take one last look and make sure it’s level. All that’s left is to tighten the set screw using the included allen key or a small slotted screwdriver.
